My backyard garden brings me so much joy, and it gives me a real relationship with the flowers that I paint. Growing them myself and watching every stage of their development helps me study them in a deeper way.
For this painting, I paired one of my hot pink peonies with a vintage blue and white vase that my mom gave me. I remember seeing it in my childhood home and now I enjoy styling it in my own way.
My original acrylic painting is reproduced as a print on high quality paper. The print ships in a tube and will need to be gently flattened and framed.
