My original painting is reproduced on a canvas gallery wrap. The image continues around the edges of the canvas, so it arrives ready to hang, or you could also frame it if you like (frame is not included). The artwork is printed with acid-free ink that will last without fading, on high quality canvas, and folded around a lightweight frame for a gorgeous, gallery ready appearance. It's finished with a scratch-resistant UV protective coating. Canvas wraps are 1.25" deep.
My take on chinoiserie is completely my own. I learned traditional Chinese painting as a teenager, and now I combine that style of brush strokes with acrylic paint in bold yet elegant compositions. It's a traditional theme, updated for the modern home.
In shades of cornflower blue, blush pink, and sage green, flowering cherry and peony blossoms frame birds, peonies, and a blue and white planter on a bamboo plant stand. Soft grass, daffodils, and violet flowers frame the bottom of the scene.
I recommend pairing with my "June" canvas wrap in ivory so the scene will continue between the two panels!
What's the difference between a fine art print, a print on canvas, and a canvas wrap?
