Passion doesn't mean satisfaction or enjoyment. It means perserverance, goal-setting, and finding solutions despite obstacles.
It's an almost uncontrollable force. I experience it, and I see other artist talk about it, that it's almost a physical pull to paint, to create, to be in the studio as much as we can.
Passion doesn't make the work easy, but it absolutely makes good results (once we get there) so rewarding!
My February Flowers this year are all about growth as an artist. By completing many paintings in a similar theme, I hope to improve my skill and challenge myself to become better.
