Collection: Light Escape: Summer Florals
"Our summer made her light escape into the beautiful."
The collection is named after these words by Emily Dickinson.
In her poem, “As Imperceptibly as Grief,” she notes the ephemeral beauty of summer. The brief time of summer is more beautiful because it's so short.
Painting flowers is challenge because it's a race against time before they fade. It's a reminder that life is short, but that's exactly why I want to capture the things that I want to remember and share!
