My original painting is reproduced on a canvas gallery wrap. The image continues around the edges of the canvas, so it arrives ready to hang, or you could also frame it if you like (frame is not included). The artwork is printed with acid-free ink that will last without fading, on high quality canvas, and folded around a lightweight frame for a gorgeous, gallery ready appearance. It's finished with a scratch-resistant UV protective coating. Canvas wraps are 1.25" deep.
My take on chinoiserie is completely my own. I learned traditional Chinese painting as a teenager, and now I combine that style of brush strokes with acrylic paint in bold yet elegant compositions.
In shades of blush pink, sage green, and classic blue and white, flowering peony and cherry blossoms frame birds in flight. A floral arrangement sits in a blue and white planter atop a bamboo plant stand. Soft grass a violet flowers frame the bottom of the scene.
Pair with "April" and "June" for a set of three panels. Each panel is sold separately.
