My original painting is reproduced on a canvas gallery wrap. The image continues around the edges of the canvas, so it arrives ready to hang, with the option to frame. The artwork is printed with acid-free ink that will last without fading. Unframed canvas wraps are 1.25" deep. Frames are 1.75" deep.
My take on chinoiserie is completely my own. I learned traditional Chinese painting as a teenager, and now I combine that style of brush strokes with acrylic paint in bold yet elegant compositions.
In shades of blush pink and spring green, flowering cherry and peony blossoms frame birds, a hummingbird, and a butterfly. Soft grass, daffodils, and violet flowers frame the bottom of the scene.
I recommend pairing with my "June" canvas wrap so the scene will continue between the two panels, or pair April, May, and June for a set of three!
