I grew these pink dahlias in my backyard garden, and waited months for them to bloom. It was all worth it to paint this bouquet.
The original acrylic painting on canvas board measures 11 x 14 inches and is sealed with a protective varnish.

Dahlia seeds are genetically unique, a combination of genetics from the seed parent (this pink decorative variety) and the pollen parent (which is a surprise, because the plant was open-pollinated). As a result, every dahlia grown from seed is completely unique!
Seed packet contains a minimum of 5 seeds. Dahlia plants grow very tall; the seed parent plant was 6 feet tall. Start dahlia seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before your last frost in the spring.
Please note, I collect dahlia seed pods in October of every year, then wait for them to be fully dry before I harvest the seeds. Your painting will ship immediately, then the seeds will be mailed to you when they are ready.
