"Chinoiserie" is a French word for Chinese art that was produced for a western market--and it just so happens to combine the two sides of my own heritage!
I learned traditional Chinese painting on rice paper while in my teens, and now I adapt that technique with textural acrylic paint and modern color schemes for a style that is all my own.
