A year in the making, this arrangement began with the seeds that I collected from my garden last fall. I spent all summer tending the garden and growing my relationship with the flowers I paint. I carefully selected the flowers, greens, my grandmother's crystal basket, and vintage fabric to capture the mood of abundance.
This is an original acrylic painting on stretched canvas measuring 14 x 18 x 0.75 inches. It is finished with a UV-protective varnish.
